Before replacing the whole mixer, check the seal and feed. Seals and mounting is cheap “first aid” if the size is right.

When a seal is enough
- Drip at the joint, not from the body.
- Old, cracked seal after dismantling.

Typical mistakes
- Taking “almost the same” diameter.
- Overtightening — the seal deforms.
- Using unsuitable material for hot water.
