Room and floor thermostats: wall, DIN and plug-in

Room and floor thermostats: wall, DIN and plug-in

Heating control starts with what you measure and what you switch, not with Wi-Fi. This page has four products the shop often labels “thermostat”. Generic timers stay in timers. Large loads through a contactor: contactors.

LBN 261-15 does not specify a thermostat model. P.28¹ is about residual-current protection on sockets and lighting, not Sedna vs Merten. No wiring diagrams, no live work.

JobWhat fits hereWhat it is not
Water or cable floor, flush wallFloor / universal wall thermostat in a frameA 0…60 °C DIN cabinet thermostat; a Wi-Fi plug
Room radiator / convector, flushRoom thermostat in the series frameA floor probe “because it says 16 A”
24 h / 7 d programme on the railActi9 THP1+ programmable controllerA Céliane frame thermostat
Enclosure heater against condensationDIN 17.5 mm, 1NC, 0…+60 °CA living-room floor loop

Schneider Sedna SDD111507 — floor thermostat on the card, 16 A, 71×71×47 mm, screw terminals, flush box. Schneider Merten MTN5775-0000 — floor and room, touch display, 16 A resistive / 1 A inductive, 71×71×26 mm, IP20. 16 A vs 1 A matters: a pump or a coil is not “the same 16 A floor”.

BTicino N4441 LivingLight — 2 modules, 230 V AC, 44×44×47 mm. BTicino KM4441 Living Now — IP20, 45×86×50 mm. Legrand Céliane 067989 graphite; amperes are not on this card — datasheet only, we do not invent 16 A.

Schneider THP1+ CCT15834 — Acti9, 1C, 24 h / 7 d, a rail controller not a Sedna frame. Finder 7T.81 — 17.5 mm, heating control, 1NC, 0…+60 °C: an enclosure / equipment thermostat, not a living-room floor. THORGEON 18007 Wi-Fi plug-in goes in a socket. LBN 28¹ (1): ordinary sockets ≤32 A for uninstructed persons need ≤30 mA — residual current protection.

Check what is measured, output current and load type, frame series, IP20 ≠ outdoor, and whether a contactor is needed. Thermostats. A timer is not a thermostat: timers.
