What water heater power and capacity mean
Capacity (L) — how many litres in reserve. Power (kW) — how fast the element heats. They are not interchangeable. 10 L (Haier 10 L) will heat faster than 80 L (A3 80) with a similar element, but there is no reserve. 30–50 L zone: A3 30, A3 50.
For instantaneous
EIL 6 Plus — no capacity; there is power and flow. If the electrics “cannot pull”, water is warmer at lower flow.
What not to confuse
- “Higher power” ≠ “more shower reserve” (that is capacity).
- “Bigger capacity” ≠ “hot immediately” (that is power + time).
