Valvoline Compressor Oil 68 is designed for air compressor lubrication and is manufactured from solvent-neutral mineral oils with very low carbon residue. A premium quality additive package, selected to ensure the highest performance, is zinc-free. The ashless additive contains an antioxidant, anti-wear additives, anti-corrosion additives, as well as a demulsifier that provides good water separation. Especially recommended for compressors designed for compressing air as well as other (non-aggressive) gases, reciprocating compressors, screw compressors, rotary vane compressors, and vacuum pumps. It ensures smooth operation even at high compressed air temperatures and provides good deposit control on equipment components. It is also used as a hydraulic fluid for power and motion transmission in all types of hydraulic systems at normal operating temperatures where free-flowing oils as well as zinc-free oils are used.
