Point drain or linear channel — what to choose
In the shower zone water can be collected at a point (drain) or along a line (linear channel). Both work — if there is fall and waterproofing. Basics: drainage.
| Point drain | Linear channel | |
|---|---|---|
| Look | Grate at a point | Narrow line at wall/edge |
| Tile fall | To a point (4 directions) | Often to one line |
| When to choose | Classic shower | Level floor, “walk-in” |
