How to choose garden machines?
Garden machines. Deeper: mower vs trimmer, pressure washer. Scheppach, Gudnord.
Mower by lawn size
- Scheppach BC-MP320-X SET-L — 32 cm, 20 V with 4.0 Ah; manufacturer recommends 250–300 m².
- Scheppach BC-MP430-X XL2 — 43 cm, 2×20 V with 2×4 Ah, for a larger lawn without petrol.
- Gudnord 510 SM — 51 cm petrol, 146 cm³; for large areas, 27 kg.
Edges, brush, surfaces
- Trimmers: C-LT240-X bare (240 mm, 1.3 kg, no battery).
- Brush cutters: BC-BCH380/40-X 2-in-1 trimmer/brush cutter, or petrol PBC520.
- Pressure washers: e.g. HPC1400 (110 bar max, 390 L/h) for car and patio.
Batteries: different brands' “20 V” packs do not interchange, and within Scheppach check the generation — BC-MP430-X is GEN2 and does not work with GEN1. See V and Ah.
