How to choose a screwdriver: SL, PH, PZ and 1000 V
The wrong profile strips a head faster than “weak torque”. This guide helps you pick one blade, a bit handle or a 1000 V set. PH/PZ/TX bits: bits. Stripping and crimp: electrician tools.
| What it is | When | What it is not |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed SL / PH blade | One size, every day | A set “because the box is full” |
| Interchangeable bits | PH, PZ, Torx in one handle | A 1000 V set if the card has no 1000 V |
| 1000 V / insulated set | When the card says 1000 V | A permit to work live |
| Tester screwdriver | Indication, not tightening | A VDE tool |
Pro'sKit 9SD-201B — Pro-Soft, 3.0 × 75 mm. 3.0 mm is blade width, 75 mm length. It is not PH2. 9SD-201A shares the size — read the profile on the card.
Pro'sKit SD-9814 — interchangeable bits. SD-9802 — 31 pcs. SD-9821 — 16-in-1 with ratchets. A ratchet is not 1/2" socket torque.
Pro'sKit SD-9608 — 30-pc precision aluminium set. SD-081A — 7 pcs for electronics. Precision blades are not for an 8 mm wood screw.
Pro'sKit 8PK-8100E — insulated set, 1000 V on the card. The mark is insulation as declared, not live work. LBN p.55 — certified specialist. RICHMANN 42-C5266 — tester 190 mm. A tester is not a 1000 V set and not a commissioning meter.
Before buying: SL/PH/PZ, millimetres, 1000 V or not. Screwdrivers. Sets: screwdriver sets. Bits: bits.
