What drainage diameters DN50, DN75, DN110 mean
On a drainage card you see DN50 / DN75 / DN110. That is the nominal diameter. Basics: how to choose drainage.
| DN | Typical use (indicative) | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | Basin, bidet, local lines | ×250, ×500, ×1000 |
| 75 | Some showers / intermediate lines (per project) | ×500, ×1000 |
| 110 | WC, stack, main lines | ×250, ×500 |
Compensation short pipes: DN50, DN110 — for installation convenience, not “to reduce diameter”.
Rule: do not reduce diameter in the flow direction without a project. Drainage.
