Cable trunking and conduit: size, clips and entries
Trunking and conduit are mechanical protection and a route, not “any yellow plastic”. This range has Hager LF trunking in millimetres and Gewiss conduit accessories. We have no published installation power cable (NYM, CYKY, MMJ) — so there is no cable selection table and no second cross-section calculator.
LBN 261-15 point 17: equipment must withstand site conditions. Fill factor and heating follow applicable standards (HD 60364-5-52 is on the LVS list) — we do not turn that into a calculator.
| Route | Typical product here | What it does not do |
|---|---|---|
| Dry room, surface run | Hager LF (10×10 … 40×40 mm) | Does not give the box its IP |
| Pliable Ø 20 / 25 mm accessories | Gewiss coupling and clips | Clip Ø is not conductor mm² |
| Floor / threshold | Hager AKA181250ELN | Not “LF 40×40, only lower” |
| End of run in an enclosure wall | Hensel AKM 16 | Trunking does not keep IP66 |
- Hager LF1001009016 — 10×10 mm, RAL 9016.
- Hager LF2003509011 — 20×35 mm.
- Hager LF30045090101 — 30×45 mm, pure white.
- Hager LF4004009016 — 40×40 mm, traffic white.
Those are outer profile sizes, not “how many mm² fit”. Lids and ends from the same LF series. 10×10 mm is a narrow profile; 40×40 mm is wider — fill is still a designer’s calculation. We do not write “40×40 = five cables”.
Gewiss DX52020 — coupling for pliable conduit Ø 20 mm. Gewiss GW50602 — external clip Ø 20 mm. Gewiss GW50607 — collar clip Ø 25 mm. A 20 mm clip does not fit 25 mm conduit. HF/LS0H is not the default for every Gewiss card.
When the run ends in a box wall, IP depends on the entry and enclosure: Hensel AKM 16 M16, 5–10 mm, IP66/IP67, outdoor on the card — IP and glands. No power cable in this webshop. Check availability on the card. Trunking and conduit.
