Reading the card
Lumens are total light output, not brightness on the bench — beam angle and distance matter. ~6000 K is cool daylight. Higher CRI shows colours more naturally (painting, wire colours). IP: IP20 dry only; IP42 drips; IPX4/IP44 splashes; IP65 dust-tight and water jets; IP67/IPX7 short immersion. Explosive atmospheres need an ATEX-certified light with the right Ex marking, e.g. Energizer ATEX light — check the marking for your zone.
Eyes still matter when drilling/sawing: safety glasses.
Before you buy
Role (head / work / zone) → power → mount → lighting.
